This policy covers shop.stolanacres.com, the Stolan Acres online shop. Our main site, stolanacres.com, has its own policy at stolanacres.com/privacy.

Who we are

Stolan Acres is an identity-first brand studio run by Steve and Nolan in Michigan, United States. For anything to do with your data, including asking us to delete it, email hello@stolanacres.com. A person reads it.

What we collect

When you browse: information about your device and how you move through the shop, collected automatically by Shopify using cookies and similar technology. This includes your browser version, IP address, time zone, what you looked at and how you got here.

When you order: your name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number and payment information. Payment details are handled by our payment processor and encrypted in transit. We do not see or store your full card number.

When you contact us: whatever you send us, so we can help you.

Who it goes to

We use Shopify to run this shop. Shopify processes your information on our behalf, and you can read how they handle it at shopify.com/legal/privacy. We use payment processors to take payment and carriers to deliver your order.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Shopify's Network Intelligence feature is currently enabled on this shop, which means customer data is used together with other Shopify data to improve products, ad targeting and personalisation across Shopify. No other merchant can see your data. If you would rather we did not participate, email us and we will turn it off for you.

We will also hand over information where the law genuinely requires it.

Cookies

This shop uses cookies to keep your cart, run the checkout, remember your preferences and measure how the shop is used. Shopify publishes the full current list at shopify.com/legal/cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though the cart and checkout will not work properly without them.

How long we keep it

Order records stay for as long as we need them for our accounts and any warranty or return. Ask us to delete your information and we will, as far as the law allows us to.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@stolanacres.com. We will not charge you and we will not ask why.

If you are in the UK or European Economic Area you also have the right to object to how we use your information and to complain to your national data protection authority. If you are in California or another US state with a privacy law, you have the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of your information being shared for advertising. The same email covers all of it.

Children

This shop is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.
